The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) gained three-point-26 points or zero-point-13 percent, on Thursday, to close the day at two-thousand-514-point-96.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining one-point-37 points, or zero-point-17 percent, to close at 815-point-98.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency rose three won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-297-point-five won.
