The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) gained one-point-one-zero points, or zero-point-04 percent, on Wednesday, to close the day at two-thousand-495-point-38.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also jumped, climbing six-point-16 points, or zero-point-76 percent, to close at 819-point-54.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened one-point-nine won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-313-point-one won.
