Two Koreas Celebrate Opening of Children's Hospital in Pyongyang

A children's hospital jointly constructed by the two Koreas has opened in Pyongyang.

A delegation representing a South Korean civic group which funded the construction of the Pyongyang Okedongmu Children's Hospital attended its dedication ceremony on Thursday.

Some one hundred-10 South Korean sponsors of the hospital contruction project and eleven elementary, middle and high school students flew to the North Korean capital on a chartered flight earlier in the day.

The three-story hospital boasts a total space of 1,800 pyong or 5,900 square meters. The building also has two floors of a soybean milk factory.
