The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) gained nine-point-91 point, or zero-point-39 percent, on Tuesday, to close the day at two-thousand-535-point-27.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining four-point-28 points, or zero-point-51 percent, to close at 839-point-53.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency rose two-point-five won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-314 won.
