The North Korean delegation for the second round of working-group nuclear talks has arrived in Beijing.
Upon arrival at the airport, the North's head delegate to the talks, Lee Keun, told reporters that the outcome of the talks would depend on the United States.
The second round of working-group talks will take place in the Chinese capital city for two days beginning Monday. Those talks will be followed by the third round of high-level six-party nuclear talks on Wednesday.
The North Korean delegation for the higher-level discussions will also arrive in Beijing on Tuesday to join the working-group delegation.
Meanwhile, South Korea's working-group delegation, led by Cho Tae-yong, chief of the Foreign Ministry's task force on the nuclear issue, will arrive in Beijing on Sunday. Deputy Foreign Minister Lee Soo-hyuck, who will head the South Korean delegation to the higher-level nuclear discussions, will arrive in the capital city on Tuesday.
Six nations, including South and North Korea, the United States, China, Russia and Japan, will hold separate bilateral talks ahead of the third round of six-party talks to fine-tune stances on discussion agendas, aimed at resolving North Korea's on-going nuclear standoff.
