Torrential rains and heavy flooding spawned by Typhoon Dianmu have left three people dead, four missing and more than 670 people homeless in South Korea.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters said that as of early Tuesday morning, around 27 buildings had been completely or partially destroyed from the heavy rain. More than four hundred houses and nearly 30 thousand hectares of farmland had been flooded nationwide, with some 110 people still being evacuated.
Typhoon Dianmu died out after passing through Japan on Monday afternoon. But weather authorities forecast more rain starting Thursday as the nation enters the annual monsoon season.
Today will be mostly cloudy with rain showers expected later in the afternoon.
Afternoon highs will range from 25 to 29 degrees Celsius nationwide.
