The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) climbed zero-point-94 points, or zero-point-zero-four percent, on Monday, to close at two-thousand-525-point-99. 

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ fell, losing eight-point-37 points, or zero-point-96 percent, to close at 859-point-71.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened six-point-seven won against the U.S. dollar, to close at one-thousand-320-point-two won.
