The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) inched up four-point-14 points, or zero-point-17 percent, on Thursday, to close at two-thousand-440-point-04.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, climbing seven-point-28 points, or zero-point-87 percent, to close at 840-point-33.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened four-point-five won against the U.S. dollar to close at one-thousand-339-point-seven won.
