The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) gained 32-point-70 points, or one-point-34 percent, on Friday, to close the week at two-thousand-472-point-74.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also rose, gaining two-point-34 points, or zero-point-28 percent, to close at 842-point-67.

On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-seven won against the U.S. dollar to close the day at one-thousand-339 won.
