The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also fell, sliding zero-point-28 points, or zero-point-03 percent, to close at 818-point-86.
 
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened six-point-three won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-329-point-four won.
