Representatives of the two Koreas officially signed a five-point agreement to march hand-in-hand at the opening ceremony of the summer Olympic Games in Athens. The agreement was reached Wednesday in a working-level meeting held in Beijing, China between the South and North Korean Olympic Committee representatives. Under the agreement, the two sides agreed to follow the precedent of the 2000 Sydney Games by marching under a single flag bearing an image of a unified Korean peninsula. The single team of South and North Korean athletes during the opening and closing ceremonies will be called 'KOREA', dressed in blue shirts and beige pants for men, and red shirts and beige pants for women. Sports officials of the two Koreas are also expected to hold talks on fielding a unified team to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
