The remains of South Korean hostage Kim Sun-il, who was killed by Islamist militants earlier this week, are to arrive at Incheon International Airport Saturday night.

According to an official at the Foreign Ministry, Kim's body will be immediately transported to Gimhae Airport and then to Busan Medical Center where a memorial altar was set up.

Kim's family is currently discussing the details of the funeral service with the Foreign Ministry and other related authorities.

Meanwhile, private citizens and politicians have been flocking to Busan Medical Center to express their condolences.
