The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) climbed 31-point-91 points, or one-point-21 percent on Monday to close at two-thousand-674-point-27.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also inched up ten-point-01 points, or one-point-16 percent, to close at 872-point-97.
 
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened zero-point-two won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-331-point-three won.
