The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) inched down 24-point-87 points, or zero-point-93 percent on Tuesday to close at two-thousand-649-point-40.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ also declined six-point-60 points, or zero-point-76 percent, to close at 866-point-37.
 
On the foreign exchange, the local currency weakened three-point-two won against the U.S. dollar, closing the day at one-thousand-334-point-five won.
