The results of a public opinion poll released on Friday showed that President Yoon Suk Yeol's approval rating remained unchanged from last week.
According to the results of Gallup Korea's survey of one thousand people over the age of 18 across the country, from March 5 to 7, 39 percent responded positively to Yoon's job performance, the same as the previous survey conducted from February 27 to 29.
However, those who responded negatively inched up one percentage point from the previous week's survey to 54 percent.
Meanwhile, the approval ratings for the rival parties fell from the previous week's survey, with support for the ruling People Power Party(PPP) falling three percentage points to 37 percent, while the DP's rating fell two percentage points to 31 percent.
The survey had a response rate of 14-point-four percent, with a margin of error of plus-or-minus three-point-one percentage points and a 95 percent confidence level.
