Seoul Daily: U.S. Notified Kim Sun-il's Boss of the Kidnapping on June 10

A South Korean newspaper reported Sunday that American forces currently stationed in Iraq had notified Gana General Trading Co. president Kim Chun-ho of the kidnapping of Kim Sun-il on June 10th. The Seoul Daily also said that the Iraqi driver who was kidnapped along with Kim Sun-il had been released around on June 3rd and has been in hiding since. According to the Daily, a Korean businessman in Iraq criticized Kim Chun-ho for trying to rescue Kim Sun-il by himself without reporting the case to relevant authorities even after he had been informed of Kim's abduction by the American forces. The Korean also reportedly said that the Iraqi driver who was abducted with Kim Sun-il had been freed on June 3rd but was continuing to live in hiding upon receiving threats from a terrorist group. The Seoul Daily said that the Korean businessman also claimed Kim Chun-ho knows the driver's whereabouts.
