The Korea National Railroad celebrates the 100th day of its high-speed train service Thursday.

An official at the state-run train company says seven million tickets have been sold since the KTX bullet train launched operations in April.

The official said that despite some technical glitches and delays which earned complaints from passengers, the high-speed train service has now almost stabilized.

The KTX train can run up to 300 kilometers an hour, cutting the travel time between Seoul and Busan to less than two hours.

South Korea is the world's fifth country to operate bullet train service.
