The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) climbed 46 points, or one-point-74 percent on Monday to close at two-thousand-682 point-52. 
 
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose four-point-74 points, or zero-point-56 percent, to close at 844-point-72. 
 
On the foreign exchange, the local currency strengthened eight-point-four won against the U.S. dollar, closing at one-thousand-376-point-one won.
