The Korea Exchange Bank plans to set up a temporary currency exchange booth at a hotel in Sokcho for South Koreans leaving for family reunions in the North next week.

The bank says that it'll also provide a 30% exchange fee discount and prepare plenty of one-, five- and ten-dollar notes for travelers' convenience.

Hundreds of separated families and government officials will gather in the Daemyoung Hotel in the east coast city before leaving for Mount Geumgang in the North Sunday for three days of temporary reunions with their relatives in the North.

It's the tenth round of family reunions since the June, 2000 South-North summit.
