An Arabic language Web site has denied carrying a threat by Islamist militants to bomb South Korean ships that deliver U.S. military supplies to the Middle East.

The Web site, www.albasrah.net, denied posting such a threat, which warned of bombing ships from nine shipping companies, including a South Korean firm.

The Web site said media reports on the posting of such a threat are 'a big lie similar to other lies that are perpetrated by the occupation forces who seek to kill Iraqis and vilify the valiant Resistance Freedom Fighters.'

Citing intelligence sources, South Korean media said earlier on Saturday that a militant group identifying itself as "Supreme Headquarters of Islamic Militants in Iraq
