A second group of South Koreans is heading to Mount Geumgang in North Korea to be reunited with their long-lost kin whom they haven't seen for half a century.

The one hundred South Koreans accompanied by officials and reporters are scheduled to arrive in the mountain resort on the North's east coast on Wednesday afternoon via a cross-border land route. They are to meet their North Korean relatives in group reunions in the afternoon, which will be followed by several more rounds of group and private reunions.

The eldest of the South Korean delegation is 97-year-old Huh Yoo-joung who will be reunited with her 68-year-old second son and grandchildren.

The first group of some 470 South Koreans returned home earlier on Tuesday after wrapping up three days of reunions.

The latest round of family reunions is the tenth since the historic inter-Korean summit in 2000.
