Mongolia's Ambassador to South Korea has added his voice to the flap over alleged Chinese attempts to distort history.

During an interview with local media Wednesday, Ambassador Perenlei Urjinlhundev flatly said the Goguryeo Kingdom is NOT part of Chinese history.

The Ambassador also pointed out the importance of having a proper understanding and recognition of the past, and the need for young generations to have a correct knowledge about the history of their own country.
