The number of murder victims by a serial killer has apparently increased to 20. The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said on Monday that the suspected serial killer Yoo Young-chul has confessed to another murder, this one of a street vendor in Incheon. The police conducted Monday morning an on-site inspection of the reported murder scene in Incheon. Police are also looking into the possibility that Yoo had an accomplice, pointing out that Yoo allegedly killed 11 women in 2004 alone. According to the police, Yoo committed the crimes out of anger and hostility toward women and wealthy people after his divorce. Yoo reportedly told the police that he had also thought of killing his ex-wife, but abandoned the idea in consideration of his 11-year-old son, and instead chose to target women in the sex trade.
