The head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff's (JCS) intelligence department has been found to have leaked military documents to media outlets during the ongoing investigation into the navy's alleged cover-up of a North Korean maritime incursion.

Military investigators on the case said Wednesday that Lt. General park Seung-choon had leaked contents of the radio messages exchanged between navies of the two Koreas during a media briefing session. Park had apparently been explaining Seoul's reporting system between its navy and the JCS when he leaked the sensitive information.
