Judiciary Reform Committee Discusses to Set up a 'Labor Court'

A bill has been submitted to the Judiciary Reform Committee under the Supreme Court proposing the establishment of a court specializing in labor issues.
The committee said Sunday that it will hold a hearing next month to gather opinions of officials from the labor ministry and other relevant parties on creating a 'labor court'.
If the prospective bill gets materialized, officials will have to decide whether to sustain the current National Labors Relation Commission or consolidate its function into the new labor court.
The commission is a quasi-judicial governmental body designed to mediate labor-management disputes.
