The country is taking steps to make sure the College Scholastic Ability Test(CSAT) proceeds smoothly on Thursday, with local governments and companies adjusting their schedules to reduce traffic congestion.

Banks will open later than usual, operating from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The government has also called on public offices and institutions to adjust their start times to 10 a.m. or later.

In some regions, such as the southeastern port city of Busan, local governments have asked businesses with 50 or more employees to delay their start times.

Commercial airlines will readjust schedules to avoid landing and taking off during the listening comprehension segment of exams, while buses and other public transportation will not honk their horns and construction sites near test centers will minimize operations.
