North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has guided a test to assess the performance of different suicide attack drones and ordered their mass production. 

According to the North’s state-run Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) on Friday, Kim oversaw the test the previous day, involving suicide attack drones of various types produced by an institute affiliated with North Korea’s Unmanned Aerial Technology Complex.

The KCNA said the drones, designed for use within different striking ranges, will deliver precision strikes on enemy targets on the ground and at sea.

The drones reportedly hit their targets after flying along different preset routes at different striking ranges to deliver precision strikes.

Expressing satisfaction with the drones, Kim underscored the need to build a serial production system as soon as possible and put them into full-scale mass production.
