Min Hee-jin, former head of K-pop girl group NewJeans’ management firm, ADOR, says she is leaving ADOR and the agency’s parent company, HYBE.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Min said she was stepping down from the post of internal director on the company’s board.
She added that she will terminate her shareholder agreement with HYBE and take legal action to hold HYBE accountable for violating that agreement.
Min said she also plans to take all necessary legal measures against HYBE and its associates for what she called their countless illegal acts.
She said despite what she described as the “hellish” dispute she has had with HYBE since April, she made her best efforts to honor the shareholder agreement and restore ADOR to the position it held before April.
However, Min said she concluded that her efforts were a waste of time and decided to leave, claiming HYBE has yet to admit wrongdoing and show signs of changing.
