Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has reportedly said that Ukraine has every chance of ending its war with Russia next year.

According to Ukrainian national news agency Ukrinform on Saturday, Zelenskyy made the remarks to foreign media during the third International Grain from Ukraine Conference.

Zelenskyy reportedly said that the war will end when Russia decides it wants to end the war.

He added that the war will end when the United States takes a stronger position, when the Global South stands with Ukraine and is in favor of ending it.

The Ukrainian president said that it will be a difficult path, but he is confident his country has every chance to achieve it next year.

Zelenskyy also said that his country is awaiting U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's proposals for ending the war, adding it is likely to see these proposals in January.
