Ukraine’s military intelligence agency said Monday that North Korea provided about 100 short-range ballistic missiles to Russia and also sent its military personnel to help operate and maintain the launchers.

The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine said the North supplied about 100 KN-23 and KN-24 short-range missiles.

Both are tactical guided missiles, with the KN-23 being similar to the Russian Iskander-M and the KN-24 more like the U.S. Army Tactical Missile System.

The North Korean names of the missiles are the Hwasong-11Ga and Hwasong-11Na.

The Ukrainian authorities said Russia has been using these missiles in attacks on Ukraine since late last year.

Ukraine’s military intelligence agency also provided an updated list of foreign parts found inside the North Korean missiles, which came from China, the U.S., Japan, Britain and Switzerland.
