Overcast skies are forecast nationwide on Friday, with rain or snow expected in some parts throughout the country.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA), up to five centimeters of snowfall is projected for Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi Province, as well as the eastern Gangwon and North Jeolla and North Gyeongsang regions.

Up to three centimeters are expected in the central cities of Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungcheong provinces.

Mountainous areas on the southernmost Jeju Island will see up to eight centimeters of snow through early hours of Saturday.

Morning lows on Friday are predicted to dip to between minus seven and six degrees Celsius, and for daytime highs to rise to between three and 12 degrees.
