North Korean leader Kim Jong-un reaffirmed support for Russia in its military offensive against Ukraine during talks with the visiting Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov.
According to the state-run Korean Central News Agency(KCNA) on Saturday, Kim and the Russian minister exchanged "friendly and reliable discussions" the previous day.
Kim said the international community must condemn the United States for its recent "irresponsible anti-Russia measures" that would prolong the conflict and threaten all of humanity.
Accusing the U.S. and other Western nations of directly intervening in "Russia's territorial dispute" by supplying long-range precision weapons to Ukraine, Kim gave unwavering support for Moscow's policy to defend its "territorial integrity."
The KCNA said the two sides reached agreements on issues including sovereignty, security interests, and protection of international justice.
Belousov, who arrived in Pyongyang on Friday for talks with the regime's military and political leadership, discussed enhancing military cooperation with his North Korean counterpart, Army General No Kwang-chol, upon arrival.
