The nation added more than 120-thousand jobs in November, showing a slight increase from the previous month.
According to Statistics Korea on Wednesday, the number of employed people stood at 28-point-eight million last month, up 123-thousand from the same month last year.
Job growth climbed above 100-thousand in November after falling to 83-thousand in October.
Jobs in the construction industry fell by 96-thousand in November to post a decrease for the seventh consecutive month, while the manufacturing industry lost 95-thousand jobs, the most in 19 months.
The wholesale and retail industry lost 89-thousand jobs.
The employment rate for those aged 15 and older stood at 63-point-two percent last month, up one tenth of a percentage point from a year ago, while the jobless rate dropped by zero-point-one percentage point on-year to two-point-two percent.
