U.S. President-elect Donald Trump reportedly said that ending the war in Ukraine has become more complicated due to North Korea’s involvement, while expressing his intent to end the war soon through negotiations. 

Trump presented the position during an interview with U.S. magazine Time published on Thursday.

Asked if he would abandon Ukraine, Trump said he wanted to reach an agreement and the only way to reach an agreement is to not abandon.

Trump added that when North Korea gets involved, that's another element that's a very “complicating factor.”

Trump then boasted his relations with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, saying that he knows Kim and gets along very well with him and that he is the only one Kim has ever dealt with.
