KMA: Rain, Snow to Gradually Subside on Saturday

Rain and snow observed nationwide are forecast to gradually subside on Saturday.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration(KMA), snow is expected to continue along the western coast in North Jeolla Province through Saturday night, and in South Jeolla Province through Sunday morning.

Parts of Jeju Island will also see snow through Sunday afternoon.

Up to 15 centimeters of snow are projected to accumulate in the mountain regions of Jeju, and up to five centimeters in the western part of Gangwon Province, inlands areas of Chungcheong, as well as Jeolla and Gyeongsang Provinces.
 
A cold snap advisory has been issued for the northeastern part of Gyeonggi Province and western part of Gangwon Province.

Sunday's morning lows will drop to between minus 12 and one degree Celsius, while daytime highs are forecast to range between zero and eight degrees.
