The nation is expected to see snow and freezing weather the day after Christmas on Thursday. 

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on Wednesday, Gangwon Province’s inland and mountainous areas, the eastern parts of Gyeonggi Province and the northern regions of North Chungcheong Province will see around one centimeter of snowfall between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. 

Drifts of snow or raindrops are expected in parts of the central region while snow is forecast for Jeju’s mountainous regions. 

Morning lows will stand at minus six to six degrees Celsius while afternoon highs will range from minus one to ten degrees.
