A British education group plans to build an international school in the Incheon Free Economic Zone.

The Incheon Free Economic Zone office said Thursday it will sign a memorandum of understanding on Friday with Nord Anglia Education PLC, which will invest 20 million dollars into building the school.

Established in 1972, Nord Anglia operates 11 private schools and 101 nurseries throughout the UK. The group also operates ten international schools around the world, including in China, Vietnam, Germany and Hungary.

An official at the Incheon Free Economic Zone office said an American company is considering establishing another international school in the zone.
