A special exhibition at Tokyo& 039 s National Museum has introduced what local scholars assert are Korean relics as being Chinese. The exhibition is expected to draw heavy criticism from South Korea as it takes place amid an ongoing diplomatic row between South Korea and China over the history of Goguryeo. A copy of inscriptions from a monument to King Gwanggaeto, on exhibition in the Tokyo museum since last week, has been introduced to the Japanese public as a part of China& 039 s heritage and the Goguryeo kingdom as ancient Chinese history. Some 31 Goguryeo relics will be displayed until October to celebrate the inclusion of the King Gwanggaeto monument and tombs from the Goguryeo kingdom onto the UNESCO World Heritage list in June.
