An exclusive press center for the South Korean Olympic delegation has opened in Athens.

Some 100 Olympic dignitaries were present at Tuesday's opening ceremony for the "Team Korea House", including Korean Olympic Committee President Lee Yeon-taek, South Korean Ambassador to Greece Chung Hae-mun as well as officials from the International Olympic Committee.

Team Korea House will be used as the main venue for official news conferences for South Korean medalists during the Games as well as a lounge for family members of the athletes. The center will also provide convenience facilities for both local and foreign press.
