The Presidential Committee on Government Innovation and Decentralization says it is actively considering implementing a system that would allow more than one vice minister in the Foreign Ministry.

In a workshop on innovation Friday, Chairman of the presidential committee, Yoon Sung-sik, cited the need for the Foreign Ministry to send more high-level officials abroad.

Yoon also called on the ministry to exert efforts for continuous innovation, saying that existing laws, regulations, practices and systems should be subject to change for the sake of governmental innovation.
