The world's largest English-language publisher, Random House, will publish English translations of Korean literature from next year.

The Daesan Foundation, a Seoul-based non-profit culture foundation, said it signed a memorandum of understanding with the U.S. publisher and its South Korean joint venture, Random House Joongang, on the new project.

Under the deal, Random House will publish a book series that includes poems, novels and classic works of Korean literature, at the rate of at least one volume annually from 2005.
