President Lee Jae Myung is set to conclude his visit to Japan on Sunday and travel to Washington, D.C., for summit talks with United States President Donald Trump.

Lee will meet with Japanese lawmakers and politicians on Sunday, the second day of his two-day visit to Japan, before departing for the United States later in the day.

He is scheduled to arrive in the United States on Sunday and begin his three-day trip with a dinner meeting with members of the Korean-American community.

On Monday, Lee will hold a high-stakes summit with Trump at the White House, participate in a business roundtable with leaders from both nations, and deliver a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a prominent U.S. think tank.

On Tuesday, Lee plans to visit the Hanwha Philly Shipyard in Philadelphia, owned by the Hanwha Group, before returning to Seoul.
