Former first lady Kim Keon Hee underwent her fourth interrogation by the special counsel on Monday, lasting about five and a half hours.

Investigators questioned her over alleged influence-peddling involving Jeon Seong-bae, a shaman also known as “Geon Jin” and the Unification Church.

Prosecutors pressed Kim on whether the “Keonhee2” number saved in Jeon’s phone belonged to her, but she invoked her right to remain silent.

Her lawyer countered that the number had been used by an aide more than a decade ago and denied knowledge of the text messages.

The special counsel has summoned Kim for a fifth round of questioning on Wednesday, focusing on the Deutsch Motors stock-rigging allegations.

She is expected to be indicted as early as Friday, ahead of her detention deadline on August 31.
