A Korean-language audio guide has been added to the official app for the Colosseum, one of Italy’s representative historical sites located in the center of Rome.
According to the foreign ministry on Wednesday, the Korean audio service was added this month to the MyColosseum app which provides audio guides in Italian, English, Spanish and Ukrainian.
The ministry said the Korean audio guide was added via active consultations with the elliptical amphitheater in the process of the Colosseum converting its audio guide services from physical, paid devices to a free official app.
The ministry said it expects the latest move will significantly enhance Korean tourists’ experience at the Colosseum and other sites in the Colosseum Archaeological Park.
Considered the world’s largest ancient amphitheater ever built, the Colosseum is Rome’s key tourist destination, attracting more than 12 million tourists annually.
