An explosion occurred at an Army artillery unit in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, around 3:20 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the Army, ten soldiers suffered burns, two of them on their arms and thighs and the others on their hands.

None of them are in life-threatening condition. 

A training ammunition detonated during drills, sparking the blast.

Military and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
