KBO Regular Season Attendance Breaks 200 Million Mark

South Korea's professional baseball league surpassed the 200 million mark in regular season attendance in its 44th season.

According to the Korea Baseball Organization(KBO), the cumulative attendance tally as of Friday was 200-million-781.

From its launch in 1982 through the 2024 season, the KBO attracted more than 188-point-84 million spectators, adding some 11-point-16 million in 2025 season attendance to break the 200-million mark.

The average attendance over 23-thousand-511 regular season games stood at eight-thousand-507.

LG Twins, including their time under the name MBC Cheongryong, attracted the largest number of fans at 35-point-93 million, followed by the Lotte Giants at 31-point-93 million, and the Doosan Bears at 30-point-34 million, including the era when they were known as the OB Bears.
