Heavy Rains And Strong Winds To Lash South Korea Through Weekend

Heavy rain and strong wind will sweep across most of South Korea through Saturday.
 
Rainfall of 30 to 50 millimeters per hour is forecast overnight, with up to 150 millimeters possible in central and southwestern regions. 

Southeastern areas are also expected to receive 30 to 80 millimeters, with localized totals above 100 millimeters.

Most of the rain will ease by Saturday night, though Gangwon and North Gyeongsang. Jeju may continue to see showers into Sunday.

Winds will strengthen nationwide from early Saturday, increasing risk of damage and safety hazards.

Temperatures will range from 21 to 25 degrees Celsius in the morning and 23 to 30 degrees in the afternoon with clear skies later in the weekend.
