KBS is set to broadcast a recorded performance by K-pop legend Cho Yong-pil that marked the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule.

The public broadcaster announced Thursday that the concert, the title of which, roughly translated into English, is "Cho Yong-pil - This Moment Forever," is scheduled to air on KBS 2TV starting at 7:40 p.m. on October 6 during the Chuseok holiday.

The 75-year-old singer performed 28 of his all-time hits in front of 18-thousand fans at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome on September 6.

Onstage, Cho said he was a bit nervous because the event would be his first television appearance in 28 years before thanking the audience for their support.
