S. Korean Stocks Rebound to Record High After U.S. Fed Cuts Rate

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index(KOSPI) reached an all-time high on Thursday after the U.S. Federal Reserve lowered its interest rate.  

The KOSPI rose 47-point-90 points, or one-point-four percent, to close at three-thousand-461-point-30 on Thursday.

South Korean stocks rebounded, with gains led by technology and auto stocks, after the U.S. central bank lowered its key lending rate to a new range of four to four-point-25 percent.

The tech-heavy KOSDAQ rose 11-point-58 points, or one-point-37 percent, to close at 857-point-11.
