Eight South Korean companies have been named to TIME magazine's inaugural "World's Top HealthTech Companies of 2025" list.

According to industry sources on Sunday, the selected firms include AITRICS, Medipixel, Neurophet, ezCaretech, Olive Healthcare and Health Connect, among others.

TIME partnered with global data platform Statista to identify companies "delivering the most impactful technologies to improve health."

The rankings were based on three key metrics: financial performance, reputation analysis and online engagement. Companies were also categorized according to the type of health-related services they provide.
